President Rodrigo Roa Duterte graces the 9th anniversary of the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) as well as the 25th anniversary of the Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City on February 19, 2019.
This year’s celebration centers on the theme, ‘MinDA@9: In the Pursuit of Whole of Mindanao & Palawan Approach through the Du30: Mindanao 2030 Development Framework.’
Forming part of the Mindanao Development Authority’s 9th year anniversary is the commemoration of the BIMP-EAGA’s 25th founding anniversary. Launched in 1994, the BIMP-EAGA is a cooperation initiative among the four (4) Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Member Countries -- Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
